Did you sit in on Monday and waste away the good weather by playing Xbox all day? Well, we have bad news for you pal, as the weather forecast isn’t looking too good for the week ahead.
While some parts of the country hit a rather toasty 18C yesterday, today Met Eireann has warned us that rain showers will continue throughout the day with the worst conditions in the west and south.
The east of the country will stay a little bit drier over the course of the evening, but there won’t be any break in the cloud – so put the BBQ and sunglasses away now.
There’s even a possibility of thunder tonight as a large weather front rolls it’s way across the country.
One dirty looking forecast
Temperatures are also set to drop as low as 4-5C in some places over the course of today and tomorrow.
However, this coming weekend doesn’t look too bad with scattered sun spells on Saturday, while Sunday looks like it may be a fairly clear day across the country.
