Everton's hopes of making next season's Champions League took a severe hammering with a 2-0 defeat to Southampton at St. Mary's on Saturday.

Antolin Alcaraz and Seamus Coleman both scored at the wrong end in a 2-0 defeat for Roberto Martinez's side.
