Away trips are difficult at the best of times, but it seems that in particular, fans of Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna don’t travel in numbers. In fact, they only travel in one number, as only one fan turned up for their away trip to Mjallby this week.

That didn’t stop him from swinging his scarf around or singing and chanting all on his own though, and thanks to the fact that he was giving it socks (and that he was completely on his own), he was recognised in the stands by one of the team’s players, who decided that he was going to reward him for his dedication.

Bojan Djordic, a former Manchester United youth player, spotted Ander Ung singing his heart out and decided that he would cover the cost of his next away trip for their number one fan.

According to WhoAteAllThePies.tv, Djordic told reporters “When I saw him, in his shirt, singing and cheering by himself, I decided I had to do something. So I’m going to pay for him to travel to a game of his choice and he’ll get to meet the lads.”

As it turns our Ung used to coach a Brommapojkarna side back in the day, but had to move away from his beloved team for work, and hadn’t managed to get to a home game in nearly 20 years, making the away game his only chance to see his beloved team.
