Victor Valdes is one of the most high profile free agents in football at the moment and he’s been strongly linked with Liverpool over the past few months but in a bizarre twist, he’s now training with rivals Manchester United.
United have confirmed that manager Louis van Gaal has offered the 32-year-old a chance to complete his rehabilitation from a knee injury and to work his way back to fitness with the club.
Valdes will train with the first team once he regains full fitness but they haven’t confirmed if they’ll make an attempt to sign him permanently down the line.
