And another week of transfer madness bites the dust at JOE. It's been a fairly quiet few days but all signs appear to be pointing towards a flurry of action starting this Monday.
Adam and Downing eventually have to join Liverpool, right? And Alexis Sanchez has to sign that Barcelona contract at some stage, surely? Not to mention the below Arsenal trio that could on the way out. So be sure to join us for the transfer merry-go-round this Monday at 7am. Have a great weekend everybody.
Though Gunners fans be becoming slowly resigned to the awful prospect of losing Clichy and possibly Nasri and Fabregas, Jack Wilshere has told Sky Sports that he's hoping the trios stays on.
"Obviously we want them to stay," he told Sky Sports News. "They are part of Arsenal and big players for the club so we want them to stay, but we will see.
Granted, this isn't transfer news but let's all point and laugh at the new England away goalkeeper's jersey that poor Joe Hart will have to wear. Dear god...
After declaring that Neymar is 'non-transferable' today, there are news report in Brazil today that Santos are looking for funds from the Brazilian government to use the player's image rights in promoting the country.
In addition to that, the club are seeking three companies to sponsor the player too, while they hope to increase his monthly wage to €442,000. Just like its roaring economy, people are really starting to stand up and take notice of Brazilian football now.
It sounds like Blackpool's Luke Varney has had enough with relegation battles and instead decided to fellow Championship side Portsmouth. That's an odd one but whatever makes you happy, Luke.
Ah Friday evening, the time when all transfer news suddenly grinds to a halt.
Arsenal fans hoping to ship out Nicklas Bendtner will be relieved to hear that the Dane has attracted the interest of "several German clubs" according to his agent. "I can confirm that Borussia Dortmund wants to buy" Bendtner's dad/agent added, though we're surprised that the German champions are looking for the decidedly average striker.
Here's another one from Sky Sports - Werden Bremen captain Torsten Frings has joined MLS side Toronto FC on a free transfer. Granted, it's another aging European veteran joining the league but he still has plenty to offer.
According to Sky Sports News, Reds manager Kenny Dalglish has insisted Liverpool will continue 'conducting their transfer business in the appropriate manner and will not publicly chase players'. Boo! We love a bit of rampant speculation.
Any transfer speculation surrounding Gonzalo Higuain has really died down lately and we can't say we're surprised after hearing quotes the Argentine gave to Spanish daily As.
"I want to continue to play for Real Madrid," the striker said. "I want to win more titles and I feel loved by the fans. There is nothing better than being in the biggest club in the world." Did Gonzalo get his team confused with Barcelona there for a second?
"He is experienced and has proven to be ready to play in important places like Naples. I think it's time to make the leap." That was Ogbonna's agent, Charles Pallavicini, speaking with Radio Crc in Italy. Sounds like we're already rebuffed a rumour we only just repoted on - Ogbonna wants Napoli, not Arsenal.
According to Datasport, Arsenal are in the running for Italian Under-21 centre-back Angelo Ogbonna. You know, don't you? The €10m-rated guy for Torino? Nope, we have no idea either, though €10m for a Serie B player seems quite steep.
Two pieces of solid transfer news here:
Juventus have signed right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner from Lazio for £9million and Braga have grabbed veteran Portuguese hitman Nuno Gomes on free transfer.
Further update on speculation that Southampton youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on his way to Arsenal. Saints manager Nigel Adkins has said no bid has been made from the Gunners as of yet.
SSN say Borussia Dortmund are after Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
BBC Sport reporting that talka between Manchester City and Arsenal are moving along nicely. The France international defender has been strongly linked with a £7million switch in the last 24 hours after it was initially thought the 25-year-old was destined for Liverpool.
Arsenal are planning to replace Samir Nasri (if he does leave the club) with the most posh named footballer in England – Southampton starlet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 17-year-old winger has a whopping £15million price tag but the Gunner are believed to be willing to stump up £10m to bring him to the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger has reportedly been a keen admirer of the wonderkid for some time now.

More on Andy Reid's return to Nottingham Forest here.
1332:
Is this Andy Reid's chance to prove he's worth moving up Il Trap's pecking order? Reid has signed a two-year deal with Nottingham Forest on a free transfer from Blackpool. More to follow.
Genoa are meeting with Inter Milan today to discuss the transfer of Rodrigo Palacio, who first appeared in our tracker a few days ago. If he doesn't ring any bells with you, here's a picture of his woeful rats tail haircut once again. Good grief.
The Portuguese press claim that Fabio Coentrao will only move to either Real Madrid or Chelsea this summer. Wonder what that means for air rifle enthusiast Ashley Cole?
After all the fuss over Neymar, it turns out that he mightn't actually be leaving Santos this summer, despite the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid angling eagerly for his signature.
This is what Santos president, Luis Alvaro de Oliveira, had to say about the 19-year old's future:
"In light of continuous speculation in the national and international press about the future of our player, I feel obliged to communicate the departure of Neymar is non-negotiable.
"Neymar is a media phenomenon known throughout the world. His talent for brilliant moves on the field is proportional to his charisma."
"The fans love Neymar, not only how he plays, but for his human qualities. That love is shared by millions of other Brazilians who admire him regardless of the club to which he belongs.
"In any case, the response of Santos is that we are not yet considering any offer for his transfer.
"Neymar will return to Santos (after the Copa America) and we will make efforts to retain and keep him happy for many years."
Ha! 'Twas only the other day when we wrote off old 'fox in the box' Franny Jeffers, but turns out he's signed on the dotted line with Accrington Stanley (who are they?) ahead of the new season. Well done Franny!
It wasn't from the wind that Nicklas Bendtner got his big-head. His Dad and agent Thomas Bendtner, claims that teams from 'all the big leagues' are interested in signing his extremely arrogant and moderately talented son.
Busy bees Sunderland have completed the signings of both Kieren Westwood and Seb Larsson that had been touted a long time ago, while Bolton have confirmed the capture of Darren Pratley from Swansea on a four-year deal.
Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma has joined Hamburg on a season long loan with an option for another 12 months. Will he be seen again at Stamford Bridge?
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed his interest in Ireland striker Shane Long, but says that the price being quoted is too high. We imagine Reading would be looking for £7-10 million for their prized property, who is all but certain to leave the Royals this summer. Is that fee too low/too high? Let us know what you think.
Latest striker to be linked with Spurs is Roma's Mirko Vucinic. A bid of €12 million is in the offing, but Roma are determined to hold out for €20 million for a player reported to be not happy with life in the Italian capital.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet is warning fans to to expect too much of new signing, Roland Bergkamp, the nephew of Dutch legend Dennis.
Sorry Gus, but how could you not be excited? If he doesn't score at least five goals like this one or this one in his first season, no doubt he'll be viewed as a failure. No pressure then.
Click here for a bit more depth on the John O'Shea to Arsenal rumours we mentioned earlier on.
Morning everyone and welcome to another day of JOE's transfer tracker. All the news this morning seems to concern Arsenal, who are reported to be targeting Manchester United and Ireland defender John O'Shea as a potential replacement for Manchester City bound Gael Clichy.
That's according to the Mirror, who claim that the Clichy deal is as good as done, and that City will also offer Samir Nasri bumper wages in an attempt to persuade him to choose them over cross-town rivals Manchester United. More on the O'Shea story to follow in a jiffy.
