With games taking place in all four provinces, Gaelic Football was the main focus of attention as the lads’ reviewed all the action from the weekend just gone in a slightly-longer-than-usual episode of Game of Throw-Ins, including facile wins for big guns Mayo and Cork, another notch in Cavan’s belt and a Meath side boosted by a goal that will not be beaten as far as distance is concerned for the rest of the Championship.

Host Conor Heneghan is joined by Declan Whooley, by chief writer at experiencemore.ie Shane Stapleton (follow him on Twitter @shanesaint) and by returning JOE Sports Editor Sean Nolan to talk about all of those games, about Galway’s victory over a battling Laois in the hurling and all the games across both codes this weekend to come.

In a new feature, Shane tested the lads’ GAA knowledge with a few questions from the Experience More challenge, while as usual, predictions were made for this weekend’s encounters in the football championships and also, as per usual, Dec was forced to explain why all of his predictions didn’t come to pass this time around.

Remember, if you’re not doing so already, you can pit your wits against all the JOE lads and fellow JOE readers as part of the JOE GAA Prediction League in association with eircom’s Win, Lose or Draw game and you can win a pair of All-Ireland Final tickets while you’re at it.
