When it comes to Gerry Adams’ Twitter account, the word bizarre instantly springs to mind.

The Sinn Fein President has been a source of entertainment, from telling us about his hairy godmother, to various other strange statements since he joined the social network just a couple of short months ago.
Today he was filling us in on his two gay teddy bears that got engaged and how happy he was for both of them, as you would be.
While it’s safe to say that the person behind the tweets isn’t the man himself, the account is proving to be a light source of entertainment for his 20,000 followers.
It has taken a long time in this country for members of the gay community to be allowed the right to marry, and no doubt the teddys themselves have always been sticking to the line “tiocfaidh ár lá”.
We wish Tom and Ted all the best for their big day.
