Juan Mata scored his first goal for Manchester United as the home side completed a 4-1 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Following Rafael’s foul on Gabriel Agbonlahor, up stepped Ashley Westwood to guide the ball over a static United wall and past David de Gea for the opener.
An unmarked Wayne Rooney then headed United level.
United had a penalty on the stroke of half-time when Juan Mata was taken down in the box, and up stepped Rooney to score the penalty.
Into the second half, and Mata stabbed home for his first United goal.
Javier Hernandez capped it all off to turn in a fine Adnan Januzaj cross.
