Nope, we have absolutely no idea what’s happening here either.
So Real Madrid are in Japan as part of their pre-season preparations at the moment and obviously aware of the need to promote themselves in that part of their world, their biggest star, Cristiano Ronaldo, made an appearance on a Japanese television show.
Then this happened…
Like you, we are obviously completely baffled and Ronaldo seems a bit bemused himself and all we can offer in the way of explanation, thanks to the folks at Deadspin, is this… “Ronaldo went on a Japanese television show and brought with him some kind of device for “facial fitness.” He also brought some other massaging tool that looked like an upside down phallus and rubbed it on a lady’s face.”
Riiiiigghhht.
Update: This appears to be the clip of Ronaldo’s performance in its entirety and although it goes some way to explaining the madness, it’s still more than a little bizarre…
