Jose Mourinho has lost his first home game as Chelsea manager with a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
Samuel Eto’o poked home from a corner for his 12th goal for the Blues to open the scoring.
At that point it looked as though the Blues would go on to dominate the game, but Connor Wickham was on hand to poke home after a mistake by Mark Schwarzer.
Sunderland were awarded a penalty late in the second half, which Fabio Borini – on loan at Sunderland from Chelsea’s title rivals Liverpool – duly converted.
