After scoring an absolutely woeful goal in an Italian amateur foota-ball match between Pontilcelli and Riolo Terme, a stocky goal-scoring striker celebrated in brilliantly bizarre fashion by lumbering towards the pitch dugouts and sticking his head right through the glass.
The ref rightly sends him off but it’s hard to imagine what kind of weak excuses his clearly amused Italian teammates, especially number 8, are trying to come up with as they desperately gesticulate their protestations.
We’re not entirely sure what punishment the league’s governing body will dish out, but unconfirmed reports suggest that the foolish featherbrained footballer will be issued with a three-game ban and a really terrible migraine.
It’s a good footballing headbutt alright, but it’s certainly not the best footballing headbutt that we can think of…
