After the shattering news a few weeks back that us Irish lads didn’t fare too well on one particular dating site, we are greatly heartened to read that another site thinks we’re much better looking.
The lovely people at MissTravel.com have asked their members to rate the sexiest nationalities in the world and us Irish lads make it into second spot. Top spot was claimed by the British but we did finish ahead of the Brazilians, Swedes and even the French.
The site assigns one famous face to each country so while Prince Harry represented Britain and Justin Timberlake represents the US, Colin Farrell stepped in to represent us. Luckily we all look like the Castleknock man (ahem) so the Americans won’t be disappointed if they do visit the Emerald Isle.
There may be some who doubt the scientific nature of this poll, and the fact Irish women aren’t in the female top 10 has to be some sort of mistake (Colombia came out on top there), but we’re not going to let a small thing like that get in the way of us enjoying this moment.
