Ireland’s most charismatic weatherman since Martin King is predicting scorching weather for the next two months.

Michael Gallagher has made the seamless transition from postman to weatherman and makes his forecast predictions by observing the outward appearances, moods or movements of the animals and countryside. He has been taken in particular by sheep movement on the mountains (insert your own gag here).

“All the signs are there that summer is far from over,” he said.

“I’ve seen a lot of the animals heading for the mountains which is another sure sign of good weather. Whilst we may have the odd thunder shower and some mixed weather there’ll be plenty of time to get the BBQ out before the end of summer,” he added which should please people right around the country.

Gallagher is predicting that early July and mid-August will see the best of the sunshine, but make sure to take the necessary precautions in the baking heat. You don’t want to end up like this guy.
