After being humbled 9-2 by Bayern Munich at the weekend, Hamburg have decided to offer a free BBQ to their fans later in the month.

While the defeat, the joint biggest ever in Bundesliga, left a bad taste in the mouth for the Hamburg supporters, the club have decided to try to make amends by offering a complimentary BBQ at their training ground later in the month.
Claudio Pizarro made hay, scoring four goals on the night, including this sensational back-heeled effort, as Bayern warmed up for their Champions League tie tonight in style.
Hamburg for their part will look to consign the result to history – after the get-together with the fans of course – and the players have decided they will cover all the costs of the grill, which takes place on the 21th of the month.
