No matter how crafty you think your parking is the clampers will always find a way to get your money, as one student in Sligo recently found out.
There’s nothing worse than being stuck for a spot and thinking you’ve struck parking gold only to realise your epic parking spot is just a big yellow box.
So what do you do when you’re already ten minutes late for class and you’ve circled the campus three times? You improvise, like this student from Sligo IT.
Okay, so we don’t know if the car in question belonged to a student who was rushing to class, or an admin who just couldn’t have been arsed, but what we do know is that clampers never rest.
In fairness to the poor(er) student, the car isn’t even on the yellow box and it’s not obstructing any pedestrian walkway so we think the clampers should have given them some credit for their effort. Instead, the clampers just gave them a big dirty fine.
