Holy mobility scooter Batman! OAP converts to Batmobile

How else would you want to be getting around when you’re 74 years of age? This pensioner is either one cool cat or has a screw lose.

Ah no, let’s be fair. Brian Vann has gone to the trouble of converting his mobility scooter into a Batmobile at the Worcestershire housing complex where he lives for a very good cause.

Old man Vann thought of the novel way of raising money for Cancer Research after running a relay race in memory of his wife, Mary, who died nine months ago.

“The whole family decided we wanted to run the race to help raise money for Cancer Research, but I wanted to do something a bit different too,” he said.

“I’ve been stuck in the mobility scooter since not long after Mary died, and the original design isn’t very exciting.

“I decided to to transform it – and the Batmobile seemed like the perfect solution.”

Nice work Batman, nice work.
