A horrific death occurred in the capital tonight when a man, apparently involved in a row, was pushed under a bus, which went over his head killing him instantly.

The bus driver and witnesses were treated for shock, as the victim, thought to be in his 20s, was decapitated after his head went under the bus’ wheel.
The incident took place opposite Trinity college at around 5.40pm in the middle of rush hour traffic on Dublin’s busy Nassau Street – where the 145 bus involved was taking a left turn off of Dawson Street onto the road.
Roads around the accident were closed so the emergency services could get to the scene, with streets near Stephen’s Green and Lower Grafton Street among those shut down.
According to The Irish Independent, Gardai are investigating if the man was punched or pushed into the path of the bus; the two other men involved fled the scene and are now being sought for questioning.
