The HTC One has gotten the thumbs up as the best mobile phone in the world, just edging out the Samsung S IV

There’s no getting away from the fact that these two are going to be the biggest two smartphones on the market for the next few months and will be locked in a pretty intense battle for their share of the market.
While they each have their own fans, the undecided camps may well be swayed by the news that the HTC One has won the title of best phone from the guys in the know over at techradar.
They put 20 of the top phones through their paces, and while they admit it was a touch decision, the HTC One just came out on top, but only by a whisker.
One of the difference makers will definitely be the casing, as it was with the S III and the One X+, the latter being much nicer to the touch than the Samsung.
