In case you missed it late on Thursday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers were taking on the San Diego Padres, and a massive brawl broke out between the two teams.

It all kicked off when Zack Greinke hit Carlos Quentin with one of his pitches, and Quentin took real exception to it, charging the mound to confront him.

From there, it really got out of control, with both teams and benches clearing to get involved.

According to Bleacher Report Padres player Matt Kemp also confronted Dodgers players, including Quentin, in the tunnel after the game, which we’re sure the folks in charge at Major League Baseball won’t be happy about.

Greinke has suffered a broken collarbone as a result of the scuffle, and will miss 8 weeks of action, while Quentin has been suspended.

However, one of the brilliant things about many US Sports is the sheer number of games teams play against each other, and these two will lock horns again on Monday night. Tensions will certainly be high, so there may well be some fallout still to come from this.
