Ireland are on the ropes and people are absolutely crying out for Wes Hoolahan to be introduced
People want the Norwich City man on.
Ireland have been slow, poor in possession and off the pace in the opening 45 minutes of their first home game on the road to World Cup 2018.
A decent penalty shout for a foul on Shane Long and a speculative Jon Walters header is all that we've had to offer as an attacking threat in the first-half, compare that to the Georgians who rattled the woodwork twice in the space of five seconds.
A big half-time team talk is required from Martin O'Neill and plenty of people have been calling for the introduction of Wes Hoolahan.

Good luck to the boys @FAIreland tonight against Georgia 3 points please 🙏 #COYBIG #IREGEO 🇮🇪

Shane Duffy is No 7 in that line-up. A centre half wearing No 7 is not right.

Maybe wishful thinking more than anything else but did Long not have a peno shout there? Cleaned out after making the pass? #IREGEO

Ireland have played Georgia in six competitive games, and five have been won by a goal and one by two. Always likely to be battle.

We might be seeing the introduction of Wes Hoolahan very shortly.
Ireland can't hold onto the ball.. Wes Hoolahan, on the bench, is the best player in the squad on the ball... I'm no rocket scientist but...

Find someone that looks at you the way Eamon Dunphy looks at Wes Hoolahan pic.twitter.com/mejb3ZTa7Q

Fair play to Dunphy, he has called it right so far.
'It doesn't make sense not to play Wes' - Dunphy on his reservations on the Ireland lineup #IREGEO #RTESocer https://t.co/o6As6Yd1wi
