JOE v The JOE Reader v Ladbrokes in the Premier League Treble Challenge

Which one would you put your money on?

JOE

It’s that time of the week again where we go to war with one of our readers, as well as Hayley O’Connor from Ladbrokes, to decide who actually knows the most about football.

OK, maybe it’s not war, but we cannot help being competitive.

Every week, we’ll be putting a shout out on Twitter for JOE readers to send us in their Premier League treble selections via the #LadbrokesTreble hashtag and every week, one lucky winner will be able to put someone else’s money where their mouth is with a free €50 bet.

Without further ado.

JOE’s Selection

Everton v Leicester, Draw 13/5

When will the Leicester train come to a halt? We think it still has another few weeks left on the tracks.

Southampton v Tottenham, Tottenham 7/4

Spurs are a far better team than they showed last week, while The Saints have struggled for fluency in recent weeks. An away win here.

Newcastle v Aston Villa, Draw 5/2

Judging Newcastle’s form is a little bit like trying to decipher chaos theory. They’re consistent in their inconsistency. We think that will continue today and a one-all draw is on the cards.

This comes in at around 33/1.

JOE Reader’s Treble

This weeks lucky winner was Ken Banks.

Ladbroke’s Treble

This week Hayley O’Connor has chosen managerless Chelsea to defeat joyless Sunderland (1/3), Everton to put an end to Leicester’s tidal wave of glory (23/20) and Stoke and Crystal Palace to play out a dire draw (21/10). This treble comes in at about 15/2.
