Community is one of those shows that we’ve been talking about for a long time in JOE Towers, and with the lovely Alison Brie starring, we think you should be watching it too.

Joel McHale is the main character, Jeff Winger, who is a disbarred lawyer who needs to go back to college to get his degree so he can get back to living the dream as a highly paid attorney.

He meets a gang of strange but hilarious characters: Troy (Donald Glover, who also has a side career as rap artist Childish Gambino), Abed (Danny Pudi), Brita (the lovely Gillan Jacobs) Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Pierce (the legendary Chevy Chase), who get themselves into some good old-fashioned comedy capers.

The show is equal parts bizarre and funny, in particular, look out for the blossoming relationship between Troy and Abed, who are a great comedy duo. Here they are studying for their Spanish exam, and if you have one coming up soon, you could do worse than learning this rap. You could also do much better too, though.

Ken Jeong, who you’ll recognise fom the Hangover movies, is also a pretty big character, as the weird and hugely inappropriate Spanish teacher, Señor Chang. We won’t give too much away, but he is already one of our favourite characters on the box.

There are three season out there for you to get your mitts on, but as with most ones, we advise you start at the beginning, especially because towards the end of the first season, you will find one of the most finely crafted peices of television in recent memory, the Modern Warfare episode. This is just a teaser, but trust us that this is magnificent.

If all of that doesn’t inspire you to get downloading it straight away, then don’t forget that any reason to watch more Alison Brie is a valid reason, so what are you waiting for?
