Planning on going for a run this Saturday morning at 4am? Then we’ve got the event for you, with Pieta House’s Darkness into Light run.
This event has gone from strength to strength since 2009 when a few hundred folks turned out in the very early hours of the morning to go for a run, and will take place again this Friday night/Saturday morning.
You can take part in Pieta House’s largest fund raising event, helping them to keep up their fantastic work which has seen them help over 7,000 people in distress over the last seven years.
There will be events in 20 locations across Ireland, and they’re expecting more than the 13,000 participants they had last year, which is an incredible achievement.
Make sure to register and you’ll get your yellow t-shirt, to brighten up the early hours of the morning on your run.
If you’re not sure about it, think about how good it will feel to have your exercise for the day out of the way by 6am! You can go back to bed then too, or stay up all night, your choice!
Check out all the details on the Pieta House website, and even if you can’t make it, you can still make a donation for however much you want.
