There was only one story yesterday, and that was the passing of one of the most divisive political characters in recent times, Margaret Thatcher.

The former British Prime Minister was one of the biggest global political figures in the 70s and 80s, and yesterday died following a stroke. However, a hashtag on Twitter seemed to confuse some over who was in fact dead.
With #nowthatchersdead trending worldwide, some on Twitter misread the hashtag and thought hat it was the pop singer Cher who had passed away.
We can confirm that the 67 year-old American actress and singer is still in the land of the living!
