Elijah Johnson saw his team surrender a big lead as Kansas University were defeated last night, but he couldn’t be accused of not getting to grips with his opponents.

The Kansas Jayhawks will feel a little dejected today. They were leading Michigan by 14 points with less than seven minutes to go. In fact they were leading by three with less than five seconds until Michigan hit a monsterous 30 foot basket to send the game into overtime before eventually emerging victorious 87-85.
Johnson was the shining light for Kansas, but as this picture shows, his ball control is a little better than even his biggest fans would have thought. His opponent would have been forgiven for thinking that a sacking only occurred in American football, but Johnson showed the term has a place in basketball too.
It wasn’t enough to deter Michigan, and here is that last gasp three pointer that took the game into overtime.
Yes, we’re thinking the same, Kansas relly made a balls of it.
