An ankle injury has cut short Cian Healy’s Lions Tour and he has shown us just how bad the injury looks.
The Leinster forward had the most bitter-sweet day last Friday when he was cleared of an alleged biting incident during the victory over Western Force, but later in the day was told that he would be taking no further part in the tour when scans revealed significant ligament damage.
His full recovery time is expected to be the duration of the tour and posted a picture online of just how swollen his ankle is.

It is hugely disappointing for a man expected to pack down for the first Test on June 22nd, but such are the pitfalls of any tour.
At least he is maintaining a positive outlook.
