Two of the most famous biters in the game became friends on Twitter over the weekend, and Iron Mike explains why he followed the Liverpool striker.

One of the greatest things about the internet, and Twitter in particular, is that it brings together some seriously strange combinations, like the brilliant pairing of Luis Suarez and Mike Tyson.
Both of the lads have had their run ins with biting in the past, but after Suarez bit Branislav Ivanovic on Sunday, he came to Tyson’s attention, whose biting of Evander Holyfield is one of the most famous moments of his illustrious career.
Last night, Tyson appeared on the David Glenn radio show in North Carolina to promote his one-man show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, and the topic of why he followed him came up.
Jump ahead to 5:00 in to hear Iron Mike explain what exactly he was doing when he spotted the Liverpool star’s name appear on his feed.
“I just saw the guy on Twitter and I was like hey, this guy’s an interesting guy” said Tyson. He added “he bit somebody, it happens”, and was sure that Suarez would make amends with Ivanovic, just like he has with Holyfield.
Hopefully we see Tyson on these shores with his one man show, he seems like quite an interesting guy.
