Arsenal travel to Liverpool in Saturday’s early game in the Premier League, and the sensible money should go on a home victory for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

It seems a curious call when you consider that the Reds have lost all three games against the sides above them in the table, but those were all away from home and Liverpool have been in dominant form at Anfield this season.

In fact, they haven’t lost a league game at home since last September when Southampton left Merseyside with a 1-0 victory, and they have the benefit of a frontline partnership that is bang in form at the moment.

Ladbrokes may favour Luis Suarez over Daniel Sturridge for first goalscorer, but we’re tipping the England striker to break the deadlock at odds of 5/1.

In terms of a half-time/full-time, Liverpool usually get out of the traps early at home so expect to see them lead at both half-time and at the final whistle at odds of 11/5.

Correct score is always a tricky one but a clean sheet for Liverpool is unlikely, and it’s hard to bet against Olivier Giroud or The Ox rattling one in for the league leaders.

Our guess? 2-1 to Liverpool at odds of 8/1.
