With the fewest number of club of any county in Ireland, it is hardly surprising that Fermanagh are the only county in Ulster not to have tasted Provincial success, but ten years ago they had arguably their best ever season.

In 2004 the Erne County had an epic journey through the qualifiers after losing to Tyrone, beating Mayo, Cork and Donegal, before lowering Armagh colours in the quarter-final stage. They went down to Mayo by two points in a keenly contested All-Ireland semi-final, but can look back on what was a brilliant journey by Charlie Mulgrew and his team.
