RTE crime drama Love/Hate is turning heads in America, so much so that it might even get its own show Stateside.

Popular Irish crime drama Love/Hate has been drawing the attention of US agents with its high viewer ratings. The Irish Independent reports that series producer James Flynn has revealed that the third season of the show has “turned heads” with US broadcasters.
Flynn, of Octagon Films, said, "Ratings of a million would be considered good on cable TV in the US. Even Game of Thrones only gets about 3.5 million."

The producer confirmed that a deal with US agents has been agreed so it is possible that the show will be remade in the US soon. Flynn told the Irish Independent: "What's happened is that a US sales agent has optioned it and we are now pitching it to the US broadcasters.”
Love/Hate is written and created by Stuart Carolan and produced by Octagon Films for RTÉ. The cast includes Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Robert Sheehan, Peter Coonan, Charlie Murphy, Aoibhinn McGinnity, Susan Loughnane and Jason Barry.
The fourth season is confirmed and is due to start shooting this spring. Love/Hate won Best Drama, Best Script Drama, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the IFTAs this month.
Tom Vaughan Lawlor, one of the most recognisable faces in Ireland since his portrayal of Nidge, won Best Actor.
