Have you always wanted to start your own business? Maybe you’ve got the product, or the idea to make you millions, but don’t know where to start? Well, AIB have the events for you…

AIB’s latest AIB Start-up Night in will be on in The Glasshouse in Sligo on September 18.

The last event in Kilkenny sold out fast so make sure you don’t miss out on this great night for any budding business owner. Tickets are already available, and can get them by signing up here.

Deirdre McGlone
In the summer of 1989, Donegal native Deirdre McGlone began working as a receptionist in Harvey’s Point while on a break from university. Along with her husband Deirdre later bought the hotel and have run it together for the last 18 years. Deirdre shares a passion for hospitality, food and the rich heritage of Donegal.

Over the years, the whole business model for Harvey’s Point has changed. Having opened with 20 bedrooms, a restaurant and a small team, the hotel has seen phenomenal growth over the years. At present, the hotel contains 64 luxurious suites. Rooms in the original building (opened in 1989) were recently renovated into 8 spacious suites, reducing the number of rooms slightly.

In January 2014, Harvey’s Point was voted Number One Hotel in Ireland in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards
