This is good news and we hope others follow suit…

JOE has been to countless matches and gigs over the course of our life and one of the most annoying things that can happen at either is when out of nowhere, your view is blocked by someone taking a photo on their tablet/iPad. *JOE shakes head in disbelief*

We definitely understand that people want to capture these special moments but bringing a device of that size along just to take a photo seems a bit much. See how many you can spot in this picture…

If you’re that type of person and you’re a regular visitor to the UK to support Manchester United, we’ve got some bad news for you. The club have prohibited electronic devices including laptops and tablets at Old Trafford.

In a statement on their official website, the club explained why they’ve banned the devices.

“In line with UK airports we are reacting to the latest security intelligence. These actions are designed to ensure the continued safety and security of all spectators.

“Any electronic device that is larger than the maximum permitted dimensions of 150mm x 100mm (is prohibited). This includes laptops and tablet devices such as iPads (including IPad minis).”
