Floyd Mayweather claimed unanimous points win against ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley in Los Vegas last night to take his record to 41 wins without reply.

The ageing Mosley, now 38-years-old, started brightly against Mayweather and landed some nice shots in the first two rounds. During the second it momentarily looked like Mosley could pull of a shock as he cornered Mayweather and unleashed a vicious barrage of shots which Mayweather struggled to respond to.

However, the assault seemed to take a heavier toll on Mosley than it did Mayweather and the ‘pretty boy’ was dominating the clash by the end of the third. Mayweather made all the running for the rest of the fight with Mosley looking his age.

The clinical Mayweather took the decision on a unanimous points decision, winning every round bar one.

The result will heighten demands for a duel with Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao. In his post-fight interview, Mayweather said, “If Manny wants to fight I’m not hard to find.” However, he also stipulated that Pacquiao take a string of doping tests before the fight can take place. The American continued, “If Manny wants to take the tests, we have a fight. If not, then it’s done.”
