Two men from Nottingham, UK, have changed their names to resemble their favourite superheroes. All of them.

Kelvin Borbridge, 22, and his friend Daniel Knox-Hewson, 23, have legally changed their names to resemble their favourite superheroes – and all for the measly sum of £10 each.

Borbridge is now known as ‘Baron Venom Balrog Sabretooth Vader Megatron Vegeta Robotnik Magneto Bison Sephiroth Lex Luthor Skeletor Joker Grind’ and Mr. Knox-Hewson is now known as ‘Emperor Spiderman Gandalf Wolverine Skywalker Optimus Prime Goku Sonic Xavier Ryu Cloud Superman HeMan Batman Thrash.’ Seriously?

The lads hope to make it into the history books, or at least a record book, for holding the longest names in the world. The pair definitely holds the titles of longest names in the UK as they knocked 19-year-old George Garratt off the top spot.

George is known (legally) as Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk And The Flash Combined. That’s cheating though, because it’s more of a sentence than a name.

The newly named Emperor Thrash told Sky News, “We decided to change our names because we were bored of our day-to-day lives and wanted to do something that reflected our true personalities.

“We couldn’t believe how easy it was to do, we just had to fill in a few forms and we were granted superhero status.”

Baron Grind said, “The look on my area manger’s face when he asked why my till now said ‘Baron’ was priceless.

“At this moment in time, I am looking forward to changing my name on my bank card. I wonder how they will fit it all on?”
