As if poor David Moyes didn’t have it bad enough…
As everyone well knows, topys typos can be the bane of online and print publications. We’re all guilty of them… but that doesn’t stop the mistakes from often being really, really, funny.
The Guardian had a great one today as they reported on the ‘anus horribilis’ that David Moyes has endured during his time as manager of Manchester United. The what now!? Like David Wylie – the journalist who spotted the error – we’re no Latin scholars, but we’re pretty sure the author of the tweet for The Guardian Sport meant to write ‘annus horribilis.’

The excellent error has since been (unfortunately) fixed, but that still doesn’t take away from the fact that the tweet is an absolute comedy classic.
Now, will somebody please proof-read this article to make sure that we haven’t made any mistooks…
