Ever tried a Biathlon?
If you live an active lifestyle and are looking for a new challenge, this could be right up your street.
The National Biathlon Championships will take place in Mallow, Co. Cork on Saturday, 26 March.
A biathlon consists of two separate disciplines, swimming and running. A points system is used for the purposes of scoring, with points being awarded for times achieved in each of the events. Your final result will be determined by the amount of points gained in both events.
Pentathlon Ireland is encouraging people to get involved in an attempt to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Closing date for entries is 16 March 2011.
