While Easter eggs will be consumed heavily over the weekend, one man in Limerick was in court this week after using his egg for entirely different purposes.

Guards in Limerick can definitely vouch for the Kinder Surprise after they discovered three bags of cocaine hidden in a Kinder egg, one of a number of drug seizures they made at a particular premises.
According to the Limerick Leader, the incident occurred a year ago and the man appeared this week before Limerick Court where he was charged with two offences under the provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The total value of the drugs seized, he said, was €603.
The defendant may have thought it was an egg-cellent idea at the time, but is now paying for his crime.
Meanwhile, we'll just be happy gorging on the chocolate feast this weekend like the big kids that we are.
