The biggest football news in the world yesterday was not, unfortunately, this hilarious Ramires faceplant, but rather the retirement of one of the greatest managers in the history of the game, Alex Ferguson.

Not willing to miss a trick, the lads at Paddy Power decided to post up an ad with a joke that had been doing the rounds on Twitter yesterday about a scouser with a magic lamp.

While United fans won’t be thrilled to be reminded that Fergie is gone, it also offers lengthy odds on Liverpool winning the league and also gives Everton fans the chance to bet on their favourite replacement for Moyes, hitting all three fan bases in one fell swoop.

Not bad for a day’s work.
