Sometimes, major bits of news fall through the cracks and that is where local papers step in to provide full coverage.
So hats off (no pun intended) to this paper which covers a hugely important tale of loss and recovery in Carney Village in Sligo.

UPDATE: It seems the story is sadly not real, as the tale published in the Sligo Weekender is a copy of one published as a UK paper as an April Fool joke in 2011. At least no hats will come to a sticky end.
