Pic: An incredible statistic that sums up just how dominant Bayern Munich have been in the Bundesliga

Maybe look away now Arsenal fans.

Maybe look away now Arsenal fans.

It doesn’t take a genius to realise that Bayern Munich are an unbelievable football team at the moment; their unprecedented success last season and their displays under Pep Guardiola in this campaign illustrate that fact quite clearly indeed.

Some of the statistics that the Bavarians have racked up this season only emphasise it to a ridiculous degree, however, particularly in their domestic league. So far, they have won 22 games, drawn two and haven’t lost a single match, scoring 72 goals (an average of 3 per game) and conceding only 11 in the process.

Perhaps the most amazing stat of all was delivered this morning by the German Opta account, revealing the following titbit of information about Bayern’s last six Bundesliga games, which they have won by a whopping aggregate score of 26-2…

With the Bundesliga table pretty much in the bag, Manuel Neuer might as well put his feet up for the rest of the domestic season if that’s what Bayern are going to continuously treat their opposition.

Like we said, it doesn’t make pleasant reading for Arsenal fans ahead of the second leg of the Champions League encounter between the sides tonight, but, then again, Bayern have only failed to score in one of their last 100 (yes, 100!) games and the opposition in that game was… you guessed it, Arsenal.

Don’t completely give up hope Gunners fans.
