Fernando Torres kept up his scoring streak in Europe last night with the Basle defence struggling to get close to the Spaniard. For most of the game anyway.

Chelsea marched into the final in Amsterdam after seeing off the challenge of Basle and Torres grabbed his seventh goal in Europe this season to take his tally to 20 goals for the season. The Blues supporters were quick to point out afterwards that for all the criticism he has received this season, he has out-scored the likes of Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Demba Ba over the course of the campaign.
European defences in particular have struggled to get to grips with the former Liverpool frontman, though one Swiss opponent could not be accused of such a thing as the photo below highlights.

He seemed to be going for the shots and curlies to leave Torres more exposed than the Basle defence in the second-half.
Hat-tip to Sean Malee for having his eye on the ball!
