Pic: Google Street View now lets you walk inside the World Cup stadiums in Brazil

It’s not quite being there but it kind of makes you feel like you are…

Who doesn’t want to go to the World Cup? We think can’t of one person who would turn down the chance to go to Brazil this summer. To experience to the carnival atmosphere, the football, the weather and the craic would have been amazing but Ireland didn’t qualify (sad-face) so we have to be content with watching it on the telly.

Google have come up with something that may help the situation, they’ve used their Street View technology to allow users to get right into the 12 World Cup stadiums around Brazil. It’s pretty amazing.

We’ve been mostly using Google Street View to find our own house and look for our car at work but looking around the stadium is actually time well spent.

JOE’s been having a walk around the famous Maracana Stadium in Rio; as you can see below it’s spectacular stuff. To check out the rest of the World Cup stadia, click here.
