Pic: The brilliant ad in a local paper for the next Crystal Palace manager

Hats off to whoever stuck this in the Croydon Advertiser, though we fear it may be a man call P. Hotoshop.

Hats off to whoever stuck this in the Croydon Advertiser, though we fear it may be a man call P. Hotoshop.

Fake ads for vacant football manager positions are common enough but few are as pithy, or plain funny, as this one.

Allegedly posted in the Croydon Advertiser, a paper that covers the area of London the Eagles are from, it very simply puts out the limited appeal of taking over the team currently rooted to the foot of the Premier League.

By the way, the top ad is the one regarding Palace. The second one may have a link to Marouane Chamakh but we’re not sure.

With rumoured target Chris Coleman agreeing an extended deal with Wales today, the search at Selhurst Park will go on, unless the paper gets some applications in.
