This must have hurt a hell of a lot…
We all know injury is part and parcel of sport and you can argue that especially applies to rugby due to the physical nature of the game. But once in a while an injury shocks spectators and players alike and Chev Walker’s hand injury falls into that bracket.
Walker was playing for the Bradford Bulls against Huddersfield Giants in Super League on Sunday and he ended up cutting his hand after an ankle tap on a Huddersfield player went wrong.
The guy was wearing blades on his boot and they just slashed through Walker’s hand to leave him looking like this…
Well after doing this in the game on Sunday, I thought I was gonna be having an op but just been told doesn’t need it pic.twitter.com/jri4BBSSJL

To be fair to Walker, he was in bright spirits despite the terrible injury and even had a bit of banter about it with some of this followers on Twitter.
