We don’t know why adidas have made a glow in the dark kit, but we like it.
We thought that kit manufacturers had thought of every gimmick possible. Oh how wrong we were.
Those trailblazers at adidas were tasked with creating a new third kit for French club Lyon and they came came up with a doozy of a gimmick; a glow in the dark kit.
The PR spiel is that Lyon is the Capital of Lights so a luminescent kit made sense. Hmmm. Anyway, unless they forget to pay the electricity bill at the Stade de Gerland we won’t see the effect too often ut here it is illustrated for you below.
