It’s often said that Celtic have some of the best fans in Europe, and these Spanish fans certainly believe that’s the case

The Vallecas ground in Madrid is home to Rayo Vallecano, and is one of the best football grounds in the country. It’s a great old school spot, where one side doesn’t have a stand, and the lower terraces are almost on top of the pitch so you can smell the grass.
In terms of support, it takes some beating, with a group of fans who fill one end come rain or shine, and sing and chant for 90 minutes.
Today, those fans decided to hold up a banner which lends their support to the Green Brigade of Celtic ultras, reaching out from Madrid to Glasgow from one group of committed fans to another.

The message was to support the fans who took to demonstrating against what they viewed as excessive force used against football fans who attend matches by the police, and obviously the Rayo Vallecano fans support their stance.
