If you haven’t had your fill of chocolate after yesterday, how about trying your hand at a giant Kit Kat bar?
By Adrian Collins
With a sober, clear head after Good Friday, James Rowan of Sandyford, Dublin found himself bored off his tree, but he had a great idea on how to fill his time.
While a load of others were recovering from their hangovers, James and his seven-year-old niece, Holly, took it upon themselves to make a giant Kit Kat bar, given that it was Easter and all.
Using a load of cereal boxes and a decent whack of sellotape to make a mould to fit the bar into, they cut out the letters to make the shape of the letters along the top of the bar to give it an authentic look, as well as wrapping it in foil for a perfect finish.
With over 2kg of chocolate and around a hundred pink wafers, this was some effort from James and Holly, and they can both be seen here enjoying the fruits of their labour.
No denying that it’s a seriously impressive effort, but we imagine that their dentist must be rubbing his hands together after seeing this.
Thanks to James himself for sendsing us in all the pics and info!
