Picture: The lads at the College World Series of baseball can’t spell college

JOE

Everyone has the odd typo, that’s fair enough, but when you’re in charge of collegiate athletics in the United States, you should definitely try to spell the word ‘college’ correctly.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), who organise the College World Series might need to head back and just have a quick check on their spelling on this one, as they accidentally spelled the word ‘college’ wrong on the top of the dugouts for this year’s world series.

To be fair, the lads at the TD Ameritrade Park did get the rest of the words in the sentence right, but it seems that this particular dugout might be bad luck for whoever sits in it.

According to USA Today, both Louisville and Oregon State, who were sitting beneath the typo, lost their games, and suggest that the extra ‘l’ is for llosers. That extra ‘l’ is a typo.
