Match-fixing and sexual debauchery in Asia? Who would have thought?

Three Lebanese officials in Singapore have had their wrists slapped – they’d probably enjoy that too – after being found guilty of receiving sexual favours in return for fixing a cup game this week.
The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau confirmed that Lebanese referee Ali Eid and his two match officials were hastily removed from taking the fixture yesterday when the sexual misdemeanours came to light.
Singapore football authorities claim to be taking a ‘zero-tolerance’ on corruption within the game, and will hope to bring the scourge of bribing in the game to its very knees. So to speak.
