Neil Robertson has come from behind to take an overnight lead against Graeme Dott in the final of the World Snooker Championship.

Robertson trailed 5-3 after the first session of the Crucible decider but won six of the eight frames in the evening session to go 9-7 in front.

Dott had brought fluent form into the final and started well in the opening exchanges but, having finished his semi-final against Mark Selby late on Saturday night, looked tired as the day went on.

Robertson, the first Australian to reach a World Snooker final, won the first five frames of the evening to go two in front and Dott did well to keep the margin to two overnight.

Indeed, it could well have been all square but the Scot misjudged an attempted middle-pocket plant and Robertson cleared up to keep his nose in front.

The final gets underway once more on Monday afternoon at 3pm.
